In 1985, Keady Tool Hire began with the purchase of a small fleet of construction and garden equipment, opening up shop in an old blacksmiths forge in Victoria Street, Keady. Two years later, the old Scutch mill on Davis street was purchased, we then expanded into the yard on the opposite side of the street which in recent years has been filled back and extended, providing lots more space.

Our main operations have remained at this site ever since.

Back in ’85 Lawnmower hire provided a reliable if seasonal income, but much has changed since then. We’re still hiring lawnmowers, but in 2013, building contractors and DIY customers expect much more, so our hire fleet has grown with these demands. Mini-excavators, large dumpers and hydraulic elevation equipment have all become standard items in our hire fleet.

During our 25 years in business we have built up a strong reputation for a reliable, value for money service.
